Raleigh/Frayser: Bartlett UMC provides 70 "Summer Camps In Bag"

Monday, June 8th, 2020 from 10:00am to 10:30am (CT)
Partner Churches create 70 “summer camps in a bag” to be distributed to children at our Project Transformation site churches. Now more than ever, children need resources to nurture their mind, body, and spirit while they are out of school and at home during this public health emergency.

BAG ITEMS:
❏ New children’s book (1)
❏ Stress ball (1)
❏ Bubbles or bubble wand (1)
❏ Construction paper (1 pack)
❏ Markers (1 box)
❏ Child scissors (1 pair)
❏ Snack (2-3 servings, no peanuts please)
Examples: Pretzels, microwave popcorn, fruit snacks, granola bars, fruit cups, jerky

Note: Please make sure all items are ​brand new​. Please do not pack candy; gift cards; toothpaste; gum; used or damaged items. Please do not wrap items or use tissue paper.

Bags are needed by Sunday, June 7th.

Requirement Details
The one Partner Church representative (PT Liaison) dropping off the bags at the site church on Monday morning between 10:00 and 10:30 AM must meet the criteria below:
  • You are age 64 or younger
  • You have not traveled (and nobody in your household has traveled) to a country on the CDC’s Level 3 watch list in the last 30 days.
  • You have not been exposed to someone who has been diagnosed with COVID-19.
  • You do not have symptoms consistent with COVID-19. (Symptoms can include a fever, cough or shortness of breath. See the CDC’s symptom information.)
  • You have not been on a cruise or in an airport in the last 14 days.
