Big Sisters of Racine

We are actively seeking individuals to join us as Big Sisters and PALS. Here is a brief explanation of the roles:

• Big Sister: A Big Sister is a mentor who is paired with a young girl (Little Sister) to provide guidance, support, and friendship. The Big Sister role involves regular one-on-one meetings and activities designed to build a trusting relationship and foster the Little Sister's personal growth and self-confidence.

• PAL: A PAL provides support in a group setting, working with multiple young participants during organized events and activities. This role is more flexible.

Participants in both roles will have the chance to:

• Develop leadership and communication skills
• Make a positive impact in the lives of young girls
• Gain practical experience that complements their academic studies
