Sexual Assault Advocate Racine

I am not use to going to a case and then only being there for an hour, but I know the work I did was meaningful and made and impact.

This was a particularly sensitive case due to its nature.

This case was easier than some, but still not an easy one. The patient knew what they needed and wanted to do, they just needed some help with questions and safety planning. I helped them answer the questions I could and get them the resources I could, along with helping the patient come up with a safety plan.

This was a hard case as it did not go as we had hoped. The patient was really struggling. SANE and I did our best to help this patient and that is what matters most. We gave this patient everything we could with recourses and everything else.

The patient was in need of advocacy and someone to just be there to help them through this hard time. I was there to help them and make sure they had someone to lean on.
